As digital learning and leading gains more awareness it is evident that issues are emerging that are hindering its success. Some of the issues that arise are: lack of buy-in, and/or the time and resources it takes to train administration and faculty; the time, energy, and resources it takes to convert a class to a digital learning class; and how to maintain and transfer the quality of education of face-to-face, tactile learning and make it accessible to all. As digital learning and leading recruits more active participants these issues will surely eradicated. However, as digital learning and leading evolves from its formative years it will be up to its initial supporters to solve these problems. In this presentation we will explore the issues related to digital learning and analyze the implications for leadership in state, regional, and/or global contexts.
